Neon Light Works: COMING SOON
Rob and Nick Carter are pleased to announce Neon Light Works, a new exhibition at
their studio gallery RNat5A, opening 17 October 2025.
This focused presentation brings together works from several of the Carters’ neonbased
series. From the idiomatic text of Language of Colour to reimagined historical
forms such as Dancer II—a glowing line drawing after Andy Warhol—the exhibition
explores the material and conceptual possibilities of neon as a medium.
Also included are works inspired by colour theory and optical illusion, including
homages to Josef Albers and the Poggendorff Illusion, as well as colour-changing
lightboxes that extend the language of their Spectrum Circle series.
Neon Light Works reflects the Carters’ ongoing interest in the intersection of light,
perception, and contemporary reinterpretation
