9 1/2 × 7 1/2 in | 24 × 19 cm
A réproduction of the photograph is filmed developing using a high speed camera with 500 frames per second. This is then slowed down to 24 frames per second meaning the development process of 30 seconds can be viewed over 30 minutes. The developer creates hypnotic ripples which transfix the viewer as the image slowly emerges from the paper.
