The ‘Transforming Sculptures’ include the first two works of sculpture created by Rob and Nick during the early stages of affordable 3D printing.
The artists worked with Moving Picture Company to turn paintings into completely three-dimensional digital models. These are then given physical form using 3D printing to serve as the basis for lost-wax bronze casting — a prestige process which allows for a high level of detail and delicacy.
