The ‘Colour Spirals’ circumvent traditional photographic techniques and resist the normal parameters of photography. Works are made without the use of a camera or a lens, in complete darkness, a pendulum with fibre-optic light being swung across a large piece of photographic paper, imprinting movement and colour.
